Venners Arboriculture is made up of a small team of dedicated professionals offering an excellent level of service, expert arboricultural consultant advice and many years of industry experience. We are qualified to a high level of competency and have experience of working on many arboricultural projects of varying size and complexity. We recognize the details of every individual location and will provide a thorough service that is tailored to the unique needs of each site.

Headed by Sarah Venners MICFor M.Arbor.A MSc For. (Oxon), Venners Arboriculture was set up after Sarah moved into the private sector following five years as a Tree Officer in a Local Authority.  After gaining her Masters Degree in Forestry from The Oxford Forestry Institute, Sarah began her career as Tree Officer for Tunbridge Wells Borough Council and then for South Oxfordshire District Council, where she advised The Forestry Commission, Parish Councils, various Partnerships and Charities, Members of the Public, as well as Planning Officers and other Council Services.  Sarah then took on the role of Arboricultural Consultant for Marishal Thompson & Co of Alnwick, Northumberland where she specialised in surveying and assessing the effects that trees and vegetation can have on clay shrinkage subsidence.  She established Venners Arboriculture in 2007. 

Sarah holds a Masters Degree (MSc) in Forestry from The Oxford Forestry Institute, Oxford University and a BSc (Hons) Degree in Agriculture and The Environment, Wye College, University of London. She is a Professional Member of the Institute of Chartered Foresters (MICFor) and a Professional Member of the Arboricultural Association (M.Arbor. A).

Graham joined the team in 2014 and brought with him eighteen years in the practical Arboricultural Industry working with an Arboricultural Association Approved Contractor.  Graham holds the Royal Forestry Society Level 2 Qualification in Arboriculture, the Arboricultural Association Professional Tree Inspectors Qualification and is currently studying towards the Arboriculture Level 4 Award.  He is also an Associate Member of the Arboricultural Association.

Sarah and Graham have many contacts in the industry that they can call upon to carry out tree surgery and planting work, decay detection testing, root investigation work and provide engineering solutions; and with careers that reflect the varied roles arboriculture represents, they have a proven ability to overcome challenging and complicated situations to provide successful outcomes for their Clients.
